The first production Ferrari-powered RML SWB has embarked on an extraordinary journey. Showcased at the Monterey Car Week, it's now en route to its new American home, concluding a 9-month global voyage from the United Kingdom to the USA.
Hand-built in the UK by RML's skilled craftspeople, this exceptional vehicle will soon be part of a presumably impressive collection overseas.
While the exterior radiates classic charm, the inside boasts modern amenities, including electric seats, air conditioning, navigation, smartphone connectivity, and even cupholders.
The first unit is already on its way to the new owners, and its 28 siblings will follow suit, with deliveries beginning next week.
Its unmistakable appearance, defined by three-layer yellow paint with intense blue metallic stripes, adheres to the Swedish color scheme. Satin chrome highlights on the exterior, coupled with blue upholstery and yellow stitching inside, create a harmonious look.
RML's CEO, Michael Mallock, commended his team for their exceptional work on the Car One prototype, paving the way for this remarkable series.
Powered by a 5.5-liter Ferrari V12 engine, this splendid restomod churns out 479 HP, delivered to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. This enables the SWB to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds, reaching a thrilling speed of 180 mph.
