The Cosworth creates an engine 480 hp 1.6 Turbo!

The famous English tutor engines, Cosworth, are preparing a small revolution in the turbo engine's world. The company officials say that can deliver a turbocharged to develop around 300 hp per liter. This unit, which they want to produce in series would have a displacement of 1.6 liters and will deliver 480 hp. The Cosworth engineers were preparing for Formula 1 and the unit was built when announcing the rumors an engine with four cylinders in line.

The chief engineer at Cosworth, Andy Ball, said the motorization has been prepared for Jaguar C-X75 after learning that will not be able to use the new engine in Formula 1. However, the production version of the C-X75 has not been confirmed by Jaguar and those from Cosworth have declared themselves pleased with the possibility of finding another partner eager for a potent engine. The British manufacturer refused to state the potential partners’ name.
