BMW XM 50e Has Showed Up

During the events surrounding the launch of the XM Label Red, BMW surprisingly unveiled the XM 50e. BMW XM 50e will be the base model, and instead of the 4.4-liter V8, it will have a 3.0-liter six-cylinder powertrain.

Although few specifics are available at this time, BMW has said that the XM 50e would include a plug-in hybrid engine with an estimated 47–52 miles of all-electric range.

Earlier rumours imply that BMW will not bring the entry-level XM 50e to the North American market; nevertheless, the company is currently withholding all information on the XM 50e from public view. We will just have to sit tight and see what the future holds.
