Genesis is making waves with the unveiling of the GV80 Coupe, set to hit the South Korean market on October 11. Sporting exclusive 20- and 22-inch wheels and a glitzy dual-mesh radiator grille, this coupe-SUV offers a range of 13 exterior colors to choose from.
Inside, the production model diverges from the concept, boasting a wide 27-inch infotainment system and upscale finishes like crystal-finished gear selector dials and an infotainment knob.
Likewise, the cabin exudes luxury with leather-lined seats and an array of premium materials, including real wood trim, aluminum accents, and a two-tone steering wheel. Five interior colors, including new options like Glacier White, Earth Brown, and Bordeau Brown, give buyers ample choices.
In terms of specifications, the GV80 Coupe measures 195.4 inches in length with a substantial wheelbase of 116.3 inches. It spans 77.7 inches in width and 67.3 inches in height, featuring all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard. All versions share a 21.1-gallon (80-liter) fuel tank.
Under the hood, the base model packs a turbocharged 2.5-liter gasoline inline-four engine with 300 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque. Stepping up, the larger twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 offers 375 hp and 391 lb-ft, while the same V6 with an electric supercharger delivers an impressive 409 hp and 405 lb-ft.
