The 2023 Polaris Slingshot Gets Bright Add-Ons
by AutoExpert | 7 December, 2022
The Polaris Slingshot, an unusual three-wheeled vehicle, has been updated for 2023. Minor updates include new color options and over fifty freshly painted accessories, demonstrating the company's commitment to encouraging individualization with this model.
As an example of the company's attention to details, they have announced the release of a new RAM X-Grip attachment that safely anchors smartphones to the dashboard.
A rearview mirror for vehicles with an Excursion roof is also a new feature for 2023. Inside, the 7-inch infotainment system is designed with the user's needs in mind. Polaris didn't get into specifics, but we know that it supports Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and USB. The Slingshot R, meanwhile, uses GPS navigation and other online services.
The base price of a Slingshot S is $21,499, which is $700 more than the previous model. It comes with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that generates 178 horsepower and 120 lb-ft of torque. Normally, the transmission is a five-speed manual, but an automatic is an option for an additional $1,850.
