In Australia, 2022 Kia Sorento lineup has expanded with the introduction of a new hybrid model. The Sorento Hybrid has a total output of 226 horsepower and 258 lb-ft and is available in front- and all-wheel drive. Under the floor lies a 1 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery. A six-speed automatic gearbox is included with the hybrid powerplant.
Kia Australia will offer the Sorento HEV solely in the GT-Line trim level. As a result, it includes 19-inch wheels, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Blind Spot View Monitor, quilted Nappa leather seats, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, 8-inch color head-up display, Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, Panoramic sunroof, remote engine start, and much more.
