Although the premium sedan of the Czech automobile manufacturer was previously seen as a camouflaged prototype, the spy photos have failed to discern well the car design.
Behold, today Skoda decided to reveal which is the vector followed by its designers.
The Superb is strongly inspired by the Concept Vision C model and adopts a dynamic style, well defined and aggressive. The new model will be built on the platform already well known, MQB, and therefore will reduce approximately 75 kg of total mass. As a result we can expect more performances, a greater efficiency and a better handling compared to the previous generation.
The engine range could remain unchanged and may further include a 1.4-liter petrol units and 125 hp, 1.8-liter TSI of 260 hp and diesel engines of 1.6 and 2.0 liters volume that develops 120 and respectively 190 horsepower.
Most likely the new model will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show, in February next year.
