The day before the opening of the Geneva Motor Show 2013 for the press, the Opel has presented in a trade show the Adam Rocks design study.
The essential change brought by the Adam Rocks concept is represented by the textile material roof, which can be folded up to the poles' rights behind the car. According to the Opel's officials, this solution is advantageous because the roof does not enter into the trunk, and thus, the luggage space remains as big as in a standard Adam.
The roof can be opened or closed by means of a remote or using the embedded applications in the IntelliLink multimedia system that knows when is approaching an area with bad weather and closes automatically the textile material roof. According to the Opel, the usefulness of this application becomes evident when the driver forgets the roof open and the weather is expected to get worse.
Opel Adam Rocks features of a three-door monobody bodywork, 3.70 m long, with muscular proportions.
The Opel says that the practitioners of Parkour was one of the sources of inspiration for Adam Rocks, which makes his appearance to be changed, becoming taller and wider.
