Not long ago, we talked about Audi preparing for us a new concept which is based on the previous Prologue Avant presented at the Geneva Motor Show. The day has come and today we see the new Audi Prologue Allroad Concept.
The prototype will make its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show. The new concept previews the design direction of new Audi models and especially the body of the A6 Allroad version. The vehicle is over five meters in length and is 77 mm higher than Avant Prologue, a feature that emphasizes its off-road qualities.
Just like Prologue Avant, the Allroad adopts a very dynamic and fluent design with a massive hood and ceiling curved towards the rear. We can also see new laser lights and LED rear lights. The interior accommodates four passengers comfortably seated on individual seats and is "separated" by a central console where they installed tactile displays.
Prologue Allroad is powered by a 4.0-liter TFSI engine, powered by two turbo-compressors, which together with an electric motor generate a total of 540 kW (724 hp) and 900 Nm of torque. With such herd under the hood and thanks to all-wheel drive, the Hybrid manages to catch the first hundred in just 3.5 seconds, while average fuel consumption is of 2.4 liters per 100km!
