Next Gen 2017 Audi TT RS coming to North America !

It comes as a surprise to some auto experts that Audi decided to bring their 2017 TT RS to the USA. Since there is not much official info on the specs, it leaves room for speculations that can be far from the truth.
The TT-RS history started in 2009 and was available in coupe and roadster versions. The RS came after 11 years since the launch of the TT family and just 3 years after the launch of Mk2. It overshadowed its siblings very fast, mainly due to its motorization.
Originally the RS had a 2.5-liter 5 cylinder engine that delivered 335 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. TT-RS was first introduced to the US market in 2012 with the launch of its Plus model line. The Plus model had a better 2.5-liter turbo-five engine that was producing 355 hp and 343 Nm.
It is obvious that the new TT-RS will have a 3rd gen design including a base front grille, redesigned headlights, bumper, buffed fenders, and side skirts, and new wheels. The interior will combine sports and luxury, sports seats, and black/red accents.
Some say the engine will be an upgraded 2.5-liter 5 cylinder which will increase the power to 375 hp which will allow it to sprint to 60 mph in maybe 4 seconds. The top speed is expected to stay at the same 175 mph range.
The price offered to the US market without any options is expected to be around $60,000.
