New Mazda MX-5 showcases itself!

Aside from a formidable photo gallery, the Japanese were willing to give us some technical details about it. So we know that the new model features a 1.5-liter SKYACTIV-G engine that develops 131 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque.
Perhaps not the most impressive figures but, given the weight of only 1,000 kilograms and 195/50R16 tires, we tend to believe it is enough for a city convertible. Furthermore, it will be equipped with the 2.0-liter engine, which produces around 157 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque.
So the Japanese have kept the values which have made Mazda MX-5 a very popular model, a roadster less powerful but extremely agile and fun to drive!
