Imagine dragging a Mitsubishi on a camping trip. No, it's not a van, nor a simple truck -it's a hideous kind of an inflatable camper on top of the truck. A real one for actual camping. After the German automaker stopped developing new models for the European market, the company focused more on rebranding and selling Renault cars.

This camper is a progress project for Mitsubishi and fits exactly the coming summertime for camping in the gorgeous german forests. It gives the opportunity of quality time spent together. It's a great chosen niche for Mitsubishi and promotes the automaker with still good ideas for the German customers.

2020 was revealed the GT Pick Up consisting of a smart cabover tent for their L200 truck. The GT Pick Up was developed in cooperation with a famous brand that specializes in tents, called GentleTent. The inflatable camper is on sale starting July last year.

The tent is big enough to accommodate a full-size mattress. Measuring 5-foot (1,72 m) floor length and 7-foot (3,72 m) interior height in full size, it has five ventilation windows with screens and an entry door. The tent can be pumped with the inflatable watercraft hand pump.

According to Mitsubishi, it can resist bad weather with up to 70 mph ( 113 km/h) winds. It's safe because is made from waterproof material so it can protect you on rainy days if you want to lay down and listen to the sound of the tiny forest. With a weight of 59.5 pounds (27 kg) the GT Pick Up camper tent's constructions can be attached to the L200 roof rack. The price varies from the two available versions: $2,755 (€2,338) for the small variant and $4,015 (€3,410) for the full-size camper.

Get ready for the summer. Mitsubishi solved half of the problem for you. No laying on the ground. Just get your truck and your GT Pick Up camper. Don't forget your family members.
