If the name Minerva is ringing any bell, then you aren't alone. The company was founded in 1897s autumn, by a gentleman called Sylvain de Jong. Being produced in more than 50 000 cars at the beginning of the XX-th century, named type C, type D, and E type, the company stopped its activity in 1956.

Now, at over 50 years later, Minerva reopened its doors (or, in its own words, was reborn from ashes) and announced is the first car, which, meanwhile, isn't even a supercar. Minerva. From Belgium with love.

The Minerva J.M. Brabazon model, named after the famous English racing horse, is a hybrid supercar, with a mono-body made out of carbon fiber and Kevlar. In the center, you will find a bi-turbo V12 engine, which works along with a sequential 6 phase gearbox and two electric engines on the front wheels. According to the rumors, it can develop a maximum speed of 400 km/h and, in case you believe the promises of 1:1 power-weight relation, we can expect pretty incredible performances.

The prices and any other dates haven't yet been revealed, but the JM Brabazon prototype must be accessible to the public in the new auto season.
