Mercedes and the Chinese from BYD launched an electric model Denz!

In 2012 Mercedes and its Chinese partner BYD announced a jointly-electric model. Two years after the announcement, the two partners show the result of the new car with zero emissions disclosure presented at the Auto Show in Beijing.
It was named Denz and promises to quickly enter the Chinese public preferences. Even if an electric car developed in a joint venture, Mercedes prefers to position in the premium segment hatchback.
As proof, Denz enjoys 18-inch alloy wheels, a touchscreen multimedia system, wood inserts, and leather upholstery very first trim level, called Lifestyle. The Top Equipment, Executive adds xenon headlights, an audio system signed by Harman / Kardon, and a navigation system.
The Model Engine is provided by an electric motor capable of developing 115 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque. The unit is powered by a lithium-ion phosphate capacity of 47.5 kW/h. This can ensure full autonomy of 300 kilometers, rather than BMW i3 given that delivers up to 160 kilometers.
The maximum speed reached only up to 150 km/h. Denz can fully recharge in seven hours from a household outlet or only an hour from a particular system.
