Not much time has passed since the launch of the compact Mazda 2 and behold, the Japanese come to surprise us with a new model, the 3V compact version!
It seems that the Japanese have serious plans for this segment more so that her ancestor, model 121 has enjoyed enormous success. The new model will debut at the International Motor Expo 2014 in Thailand on November 28, current year!
Although the body is directly derived from the hatchback version, the designers have managed to make it quite attractive. As for engines, Mazda 2 Sedan will be available in both gasoline and a 1.5L diesel engine which will use SKYACTIV-D technology. It is not yet clear whether the new model will be available for the European market but it is for sure that it will hit the market in 2015.
