Lancia has introduced the Ypsilon HF, with its May 2025 market introduction just around the corner. With a revamped body package and an improved chassis configuration, this electric vehicle produces 237 horsepower.

They have confirmed that they will apply the HF treatment to all future Lancia vehicles, including the Gamma crossover and the Delta hatchback. In terms of aesthetics, the revised front bumper has bigger and more angular intakes, as well as the HF emblem with the red elephant placed on it.

Wide fender extensions highlight the six-spoke alloy wheels that are version-specific, as seen in the profile. One electric motor, situated up front, gives the hatchback 237 hp. Quicker than the regular EV and mild-hybrid versions, it can go from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour (0 to sixty-two miles per hour) in 5.8 seconds.

Lowering the suspension and widening the tracks work in tandem with the upgraded powerplant to improve the vehicle's grip on the road. In any case, since its return to racing, Lancia's Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, a new R4 rally class challenger, has garnered significant attention.

The striking redesign of the famous Martini livery, which is evocative of the Lancia 037 and Delta Integrale vehicles that won championships, is the show-stopper.

White multi-spoke alloy wheels, an operational scoop positioned on top of the vehicle, and two hood vents for better engine cooling are all features of the Rally 4. The Rally 4 also borrows the aggressive bodykit from the Ypsilon HF to complete its racing-ready appearance.

The Rally 4's engine is a more powerful variant of the road-going model's turbocharged 1.2-liter, three-cylinder gasoline engine, producing 209 horsepower.

With the aid of a limited-slip differential, the front wheels get power from a five-speed transmission, which improves traction. The company also presented the Lancia Corse HF emblem, which will feature on future Lancia racing vehicles.

Lancia hasn't said when the Ypsilon will make its rallying debut just yet, but we should find out more information in the next few months. As a reminder, Lancia is the most successful rallying brand in history, having won 15 World Rally Championship (WRC) championships, 3 constructors' and endurance world championships, 1 1000 Miglia, 2 Targa Florio, and 1 Carrera Panamericana.
