Jeep Grand Cherokee gets 700 hp!

The americans are preparing a hot version of the Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV. It will be launched in 2017 and will be called Trackhaw.
It seems that success from overseas rivals challenged the Americans who decided to demonstrate that there is room for improvement. Thus, from the internal sources we learned that the new Grand Cherokee will receive a hot version of 707 hp. It is rumored that the prototype is already in testing and is found under the hood a 6.2 l HEMI V8. It is not a new engine but the one taken from Challenger and Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat.
The gearbox is an automatic 8-speed with a small time shift. The performance of new monster will be enviable and a landmark for Class SUV in its class. Sprint 0-100 km / h will be done in three seconds and maximum speed will reach 321 km / h.
Along with Trackhaw, Jeep will launch a more modest version equipped with the same V8 only in this case, the power will be limited to 475 hp. Performance will be more modest, the SUV will accelerate to 100 km / h in four seconds and top speed will reach 275 km / h.
