Honda e-Ridgeline Pickup Is An Envision Future of SUVs In Japan
by AutoExpert | 26 April, 2021
During the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show, Honda revealed its latest all-new electric SUV concept, and new rumors talk about an electric sports car dubbed Prologue. Also, the Japanese automaker has revealed a second prototype electric drag racer. Honda plans to change towards electric cars and everyone asks if the Ridgeline pickup is or not looking like an EV? Let's take a look at how a Ridgeline with a similar design might look like.
The rendered electric version will be named e-Ridgeline, as is a fictional Honda SUV with a plentitude of fashionable features. The designers gave the e-Ridgeline flushed door handles, super sleek wing mirrors, and small spoilers to the bottom of the front fascia. There is also, LED lighting signature and some snazzy diamond-cut wheels in relatively low profile rubber.
The missing standard engine replaced by the battery pack leaves room for bigger front grilles in real life, the deleted internal combustion model has a lower grille that grows to allow for radiators and the like to be fitted. Such a pickup is surreal but could appear over the next decade and an electric pickup could influence Honda in building their cars on modular EV platforms. Maybe after a decade or more, it will be much easier to bring to the production line a much acceptable e-Ridgeline pickup.
