The newest vehicle to get Hennessey Performance's HPE1000 treatment is the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody Jailbreak. The tuner has extensive expertise in modifying and improving the Challenger, and in the Jailbreak, they have made a few tweaks to the 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 engine, which normally produces 807 horsepower.
The tuner started with a new set of supercharger pulleys, followed by new headers, exhaust, intake, fuel injectors, and an engine tune. As a result, the power output from Hennessey's Dodge Challenger Hellcat is 1,000 horsepower and 948 pound-feet of torque.
