Guy Sent To Prison for Insurance Fraud Involving Bugatti Veyron

This story made the news a few years ago. At the time Andy House, the owner of a Bugatti Veyron said that he crashed into a lake trying to avoid a pelican.
Naturally, the $1 Million Veyron was insured and he filed an insurance claim for $2.2 Million.
Apparently the prosecutors didn't believe him and after many investigations, they proved he was lying and tried to fraud the insurance company. Somehow the prosecutors got their hands on a video that shows how House intentionally drove the car in the lake and later it was clear that he left the engine running to make sure it gets destroyed.
In 2014, House pleaded guilty and was facing 10 years in prison but recently his sentence was cut down to 1 year in prison, 3 years of supervision and a fine of $600,000.
