This one of a kind Ford Mustang was created by Ford Racing in collaboration with Galpin Auto Sports and sold in 2012 at the Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson auction, with the income being donated to the St. Jude Research Children Hospital.
The Ford Mustang GT Custom SPX / Galpin Widebody car is based on the 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429, mixing modern technologies with classical muscle car features.
Galpin Auto did its best in order to ensure that the car performs as well as it looks. The engine powering it is a 5 liters Ford, producing 700 hp and working with a 6 phase Getrag manual transmission.
The Ford Mustang GT Custom SPX / Galpin Widebody car has Wilwood brakes and custom 22x14 and 22x11 Forgiato wheels and Pirelli Tires. The interior of Ford Mustang GT Custom SPX / Galpin Widebody is painted in black with red leather accents. The audio system works with massive JLT speakers.
