Steeda Designs A Custom Ford Mustang For A Police Department In Georgia
by AutoExpert | 4 May, 2022
Steeda and AWE have teamed together to produce a one-of-a-kind Ford Mustang for the Georgia police department in Valdosta. Steeda began with a 2021 GT and promptly began looking for methods to boost its performance in order to create the ideal Mustang patrol car.
The suspension system received special attention, with a revised adjustable front and back sway bar kit, fresh subframe bushings, subframe alignment equipment, subframe support braces, low-profile jacking rails, and a two-point G-Trac brace being added.
Following the completion of suspension and chassis improvements, Steeda focused on the conventional 5.0-liter V8. With a custom tune and a cold air intake, it now has more power. However, no details were given of the car's increased output in terms of horsepower and torque.
AWE has also installed a cat-back exhaust system, as well as a set of 20-inch gloss black wheels with 275/35 front and 315/30 back Nitto INVO high-performance rubber. Because this Mustang will be utilized on the job, it has been outfitted with all of the necessary equipment. A new rear wing, hood strut kit, door sill plates, and a Steeda logo in the cabin make the perfect combo.
