Final Lancia Delta Futurista Exposed
by AutoExpert | 24 October, 2022
Automobili Amos first unveiled its Futurista Lancia Delta restomod project four years ago, stating that just 20 units would be produced. The last of them has been unveiled, and it boasts the legendary Martini Racing livery.
The redesigned 1989 Delta Integrale, with its white body and bold red and blue stripes, and "Martini Legacy" writing on the spoiler, is a clear reminder of the company's heritage. To save weight, the bumper, hood, fascia, trunk, rear spoiler, bumper, and engine cover are constructed from carbon fiber.
Due to these weight-saving methods, the vehicle weighs just 2,755 pounds. Like the original model, 330 horsepower is produced and distributed to all four wheels. The Delta Futurista's interior has red Alcantara seats and other Alcantara accents. The pedals are made of aluminum, and the door panels were made specifically for the vehicle.
As the last Lancia Delta Futurista has been delivered, Automobili Amos can shift its focus to the Lancia Delta Safarista. The Delta that won the 1988 Rally Safari served as inspiration for this tougher take on the Futurista. It will be produced in a limited run of just 10 units, with each one costing €570,000 ($561,000).
