EV from Aston Martin: RapidE targets China.

Aston Martin has turned the Rapid S sedan into an EV with the help of Williams Advanced Engineering. It is a fully electric sedan called RapidE which was revealed in London at a ceremony where the Chinese president and British royalty were present.
During the event, Aston Martin and China Equity have announced a partnership to explore the potential of a scaled production. If successful the HQ will be based in Gaydon and the first cars could see the light of day in about 2 years.
Officials from both China Equity and Aston Martin have stated that they welcome and are excited in participating at making the Aston Martin a zero-emission sports car. They added that there are great opportunities for electric cars in China and the entire world.
