It looks like it's time for the Dubai Police to add another flashy ride to their collection: the Lamborghini Urus Performante. Well, they did just that by adding a Urus Performante to their fleet.
The handover took place at the Dubai Airshow, and after some tweaks, it's now on duty. The exterior got a green and white police look with logos, along with slim light bars and a siren.
While we didn't get a peek inside, Lamborghini mentioned the Urus now features a fold-down message display and an armored gun box. In the cargo area, there's a cabinet for service gear and a defibrillator for first aid.
The acting commander-in-chief of the Dubai Police, Major General Ahmed Mohammed bin Thani, said the Urus will support their commitment to residents' safety and city security. It's part of their plan to have more officers out and about. Paolo Sartori, Lamborghini's Middle East and Africa Regional Head, expressed delight in continuing their collaboration with Dubai Police.
He emphasized how this Lamborghini Urus Performante will assist in public duties and enhance the city's security. The Urus Performante packs a twin-turbo V8 with 657 hp, going 0-62 mph in 3.3 seconds. It's a powerhouse, hitting a top speed of 190 mph—quite a ride for the Dubai Police!
