Do You Want To Take A Glimpse At The 2022 Alpina B8 Gran Coupe Styling?
by AutoExpert | 24 March, 2021
Yet again, an automaker prepares the official unveiling of a new model and just a few days before you can find already enough online photos to satisfy the customer's curiosity. Leaked by mistake or not, but this is a good marketing strategy and no one is complaining about it. This time we get a glimpse at the 2022 Alpina B8 Gran Coupe before its scheduled launch.
The picture was published on BMW's USA website and almost immediately deleted. Probably an error in the programmed publishing report for the event itself. But Bimmer Today did manage to save a few of them and publish them. This way you can see the sedan in its full glory.
We see a slightly different front bumper with the 'Alpina lettering' below the side grille, front fender vents that sport different trim and identical to the BMW M850i Gran Coupe'sNew four-fin diffuser side skirts, and a quad exhaust pipe layout incorporated in the rear bumper.
On both ends, you can spot the automaker's emblem, featuring 'Alpina' and 'B8' logos. The model's name lettering is present on the digital instrument cluster and iDrive selector with an impressive special plaque on the front and the central armrest.
The BMW B8 beautifully painted in Alpina Green color has its signature multi-spoke alloy wheels perfectly filling the arches. So far, we have a pretty clear idea of the model's design and can expect patiently the official premiere to find out more technical specifications about the car's output, torque, and performances. We hope for more than the previous 600hp delivered by M850i Gran Coupe's output.
