Dacia Brings Upgrades And Innovations For 2024 Lineup
by AutoExpert | 20 February, 2024
Dacia, known for its budget-friendly offerings, is adapting to new European rules requiring basic systems of autonomous driving in all models. That's why they are modernizing their Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Logan, and Jogger ranges to offer the latest safety features.
From July 2024, all Dacia cars will already have standard safety technology onboard, including lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, and automatic emergency braking.
Apart from that, the carmaker is putting on rescue QR code stickers to assist emergency responders in locating the information easily and quickly. To facilitate these systems, Dacia will install new ADAS cameras on the windshields of its cars instead of bumper-mounted sensors.
But it is just the exterior that is left untouched, as they are coming up with fresh wheel designs and new color options to make things interesting. Inside, you’ll find both upgraded USB-C ports and a handy "My Safety" button that will help you turn off certain safety features. The Jogger Hybrid 140 is also coming with a digital instrument cluster and an "E-Save" function that is designed to conserve battery life.
As part of its sustainability plan, Dacia will provide the vehicle manual in a digital format only, with a short printed quick guide available in print. Updates are proof of the company's drive to stay competitive while remaining affordable.
The 2024 models will be available for order in April 2024, with pricing details to be announced near the launch date.
