Chevrolet Logo - 100 years since the appearance!

Bow Tie Chevrolet, as is named by the representatives of the brand, was designed by William C. Durant, co-founder of the American brand in 1902, and the first model that was displayed represented Chevrolet H-2 Royal Mail, followed by H-4 Baby Grand. Both models showed the logo in the center of the front grille, a feature retained for all the Chevrolet models launched in the past 100 years.
The American brand operates in 140 markets worldwide and its logo is a symbol of the country famous. In the 100 years of career, "bow tie" Chevrolet has been changed 10 times, receiving an updated design to adapt the appearance of the models on which it is mounted. The last update occurred in 2011, when the logo launched in 2004 received a set of chrome edges, the design from 2004 marked a significant change from the one launched in 2005, presenting a mix between 1974 and 1982 versions of the logo.
Chevrolet has produced 215 million cars with this logo, of which approximately 60 million still circus on the road.
