The words "Peugeot" and "half a million dollars price" tag are unexpectedly used in the same sentence. Things change, and this classic Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 has been listed by Luxury Car Consulting with the USD 537.477 figure near it.

The car is said to be fully restored. We don’t know that because… we haven’t seen it. Turns out that in order to have just a look at this Peugeot 205, you need to prove that you have the money to buy it. This is no news when it comes to selling valuable precious classic cars and supercars but still, this is a Peugeot here.

Peugeot prices are sky-rocketing, as another 205 Turbo 16 has been recently listed for slightly less than half a million dollars. It’s Jean Todt’s car and it comes pained in white racing livery.

This model was premiered back in 1984 and the edition was limited to 219 units. The all-wheel-drive T16 model runs on a 16-valve turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 197 hp at 188 ft-lb torque. These performances helped the car reach its first 100 km/h in 6 seconds, topping at 210 km/h. 

The chassis was also special, with steel tubular sub-frames, uprated brakes, and a racing suspension.
