A modernized electric pickup truck was revealed by Canoo at the Motor Press Guild’s Virtual Media Day. This is the third vehicle launched and produced on Canoo’s proprietary platform. As we’re used this truck is a modern and bold automotive innovation, for its forward control vehicle proprieties.
The design looks similar to the previous Canoo van but features a truck-alike rugged with a beefy front bumper, skid plates, and extended wheel arches. The 18-inch wheels wrapped in off-road tires. The silhouette features the VW Type 2 Pickup.
The pull-out bed extension increases the length of the bed, and the doors are swung out the bed is extended. Also, has auxiliary taillights and secondary and a secondary tailgate door that can be opened for a secured cargo.
The truck’s bed has hidden steps, power outlets, perimeter lighting, and third brake light which doubles as an overhead light. The bed divider’s system helps to safely separate and secure the cargo. Also, you get a bonus storage space for the smaller items.
The electrical outlets and one front panel become an extendable work table, with the possibility of additional tables on both sides of the bed, if needed. There are also additional roof racks and camper shells items.
The interior should have a customizable rear compartment that can accommodate two additional seats or support additional purpose-built use-case configurability.
Canoo promises a 200-miles range EV truck, and you can even pre-order it in the second quarter of this year and expect a delivery starting in 2023.
