The Americans have been developing a finishing stroke in the sport premium sedans domain, along with the launch of the Cadillac CTS-V model. Hard years of working have materialized in a new model that can brag among its main competitors from Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW with the most powerful engine.
Even if in theory the CTS-V performances are the best in the modern 2016 generation, the Americans still feel the threat from the German trio and are preparing all of their weapons. And since Mercedes-Benz and BMW are getting ready to announce the new E-Class AMG and M5 models, Cadillac has decided to welcome them with a considerable upgrade.
According to Cadillac, "The cold war is ongoing. And during the fight, 640 hp will be exceeded." This means that the CTS-V model shall be modified in order to graciously meet the new challenges.
Thus, we can expect a model with lots of hp, lots of carbon fiber, and rigid sport settings. Especially since on the American market, Cadillac has to face a serious competitor - Dodge Charger Hellcat, which comes with 707 hp.
