Audi Q1 got the green light! The production is expected in 2016!

The Germans from Audi said that the new compact city crossover will be released only in 2016 in an international auto salon.
Even if many rumors have been launched, and all kind of previews, the manufacturer announced that up to a mass production of the model is a long way. It is not known whether the car will be built on the PQ25 platform or will be an absolutely new. The fact is one thing, Audi Q1 will be released!
It is assumed that the new Q1 will be offered with five different engines, three of them on gasoline of 1.4 l volume and 150 hp, one of 1.8-liter and 180 hp and the third of 2.0-liter and 240 hp! In the diesel range will be a 2.0 liter volume of 150 and 184 hp. Furthermore, the new crossover will receive an RS version powered by a 2.0 liter petrol engine volume and 300 hp!
The new Q1 is part of the company's development that the Germans heavily relies. The exterior of the car can be similar to the Crosslane Coupe similar with the concepts presented in autumn 2012 at Paris.
