There is now a more affordable version of the Audi Q4 e-tron available. The Q4 35 e-tron is its official name, and it will be available in a crossover and a sportback body style. With a 55 kWh battery pack instead of an 82 kWh one, the new entry-level model is €7,350 less than the Q4 45 e-tron.
As a result, the crossover's range drops to 221 miles, and the sportback's to 227 miles. A motor placed on the back of the Q4 35 e-tron generates 168 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque.
Because of this, the new Q4 35 e-tron can reach a peak speed of 99 mph after nine seconds of acceleration from 0-62 mph. The Q4 45 e-tron delivers 282 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque, to give you an idea of how those figures are placed into context.
In addition to being less powerful and slower, the Q4 35 e-tron can only handle DC fast charging at 145 kW, not 175 kW. Still, it only takes 25 minutes to charge its battery from 10% to 80%. German dealers are currently accepting orders for the Q4 35 e-tron. Crossovers start at €45,600, and sportbacks are €47,600.
