Audi officials have decided to fire Franciscus van Meeli - former director of Audi Quattro - because they were completely dissatisfied with the progress of the project R8.
Quattro Audi division has the mission to produce Sport versions and performance of the group R8, this project was performed on time, but the progress was unsatisfactory for Audi.
Therefore, Van Meeli 46 year's old man was appointed to lead the Division of Research and Development of the German manufacturer in Beijing, China.
