Amazing Reflexes Prevents Crash on Nurburging (VIDEO)

When you talk about racing you have to also talk about accidents and near-accident situations. Fortunately today we talk about the latter.
A BMW (Driver 1) was in a race on the Nurburging circuit and decelerate to enter a steep corner. Another driver (Driver 2) that probably lost control was just inches away from hitting the Driver 1. The accident was avoided due to some amazing reflexes and skill of the Driver 1. I watched the video 3 times to understand what happened.
FYI it all happens at second 0:14. Pay close attention to the wrist of Driver 1. The action happens so fast that if you blink you'll miss it.
PS. You can lower the speed of the video and it all becomes much interesting and clearer!
