Altered Design, Same Engine For The 2022 Volkswagen T-Roc

Volkswagen T-Roc was recently upgraded for the model year 2022. The upgrade affects the regular model, the T-Roc R, and the T-Roc Cabriolet, as well as the rest of the lineup.
The T-Roc's front fascia has undergone a succession of modifications. For versions fitted with the additional matrix headlights, this comprises the installation of redesigned headlights joined by a light bar spanning across the grille.
Lesser models have LED headlights but no light bar.
The carmaker has also added vertical fog lamps to the 2022 Volkswagen T-Roc. The updated taillights, which have been darkened and fitted with new LED light signatures, are another notable modification. The back bumper has been altered as well.
Unique front and back bumpers, dark headlights, vertically stacked daytime running lights, 18-inch Jerez alloy wheels, silver wing mirror caps, a tailgate spoiler, and an optional Akrapovic exhaust set the T-Roc R apart.
The inside of the T-Roc has also been thoroughly updated. The addition of a soft-touch dash, which substitutes the rigid plastic dashboard of the pre-facelift version, is one of the most significant modifications.
A 6.5-inch, 8-inch, and 9.2-inch infotainment screen are also available, as well as an 8-inch digital instrument cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported by the infotainment screen. The steering wheel on the 2022 T-Roc is identical to that on the VW Golf.
With the IQ.Drive Travel Assist system, new security features such as anticipatory cruise control and better front assist and lane assist systems have been added to the 2022 Volkswagen T-Roc. A park assistance system is also included as a standard option.
There have been no changes to the powertrain. As a result, the entry-level 2022 Volkswagen T-Roc model comes with a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine that produces 110 horsepower, while a 1.5-liter four-cylinder TSI engine delivers 150 horsepower.
Both variants had a front-wheel-drive configuration. A 2.0-liter TSI with 4Motion all-wheel drive and 190 hp, as well as a pair of 2.0-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder engines with 115 hp (FWD) and 150 hp (4Motion), are also offered. A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 296 horsepower and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque powers the T-Roc R.
