AC Schnitzer Unleashes The Potential Of The BMW X5 With Signature Upgrades
by AutoExpert | 18 April, 2024
Following last year's mid-lifecycle update to the BMW X5, tuner AC Schnitzer has entered the scene with a modified body package, new 22-inch wheels, a lowered suspension, and optional power upgrades for the BMW X5's gasoline and diesel engines.
A massive rear spoiler, deeper side skirts, and a noticeable front splitter are all part of AC Schnitzer's aerodynamic improvement package for the beloved BMW X5, which is compatible with the M Package.
The brand new 22-inch AC5 alloy wheels, which debuted on the BMW XM by AC Schnitzer, are now standard. The new wheels come in a variety of finishes. The tuner provides spacers that raise the front and back tracks by 0.9 inches, allowing the SUV to sit higher if desired.
You may also get lowering kits from AC Schnitzer. You may improve the SUV's handling and appearance by bringing it closer to the ground by 0.6–1.2 inches, depending on the model. Aside from some new metal pedal covers and shifter paddles mounted behind the wheel, that's about it for the inside upgrades.
AC Schnitzer also enhances the power output of the BMW X5 xDrive40d. The diesel-powered BMW X5 produces 377 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque, which is a 30 horsepower and 44 lb-ft increase over the original version.
Plus, the six-cylinder engines come with a customized engine cover with red highlights and AC Schnitzer branding. Additionally, the tuner's website allows customers to purchase the BMW X5 components separately.
