A new project is on: Electric V2G School Bus
by AutoExpert | 15 December, 2020
It’s such an honor to take the bus to school these days. Despite the covid pandemic, the Lion Electric Company, successfully completed one vehicle-to-grig (V2G) pilot deployment for the first five schools in New York.
Called LionC school Bus, this e-bus can get up to 72 passengers, a range of 100 to 2500 km per charge, and the 19.2 kW AC on-board charger.
So, there’s more than one way to sustain both the need for a safer ride to school and a safe ride for the environment. Thinking about those 480,000 buses that have a weekly duty to perform, you’d get frightened about how many emissions are released for the rest of us to inhale.
See below the long road it took to achieve the bring-to-life of this brilliant idea.
