The magnificent 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II seen here will be auctioned off at Barrett Jackson's Scottsdale event early next year. Barrett Jackson's 2023 Scottsdale Auction is scheduled for January 21st through the 29th at WestWorld of Scottsdale, where the automobile will be offered for sale.
To start with, this 1956 Lincoln Continental construction is extreme in every way, from the bespoke exterior and the exquisite interior to the one-of-a-kind engine that pumps out more than 850 horsepower.
The Arizona-based SIC Chops company that constructed it coated the body with Dupont Toner Black with Chroma Clear and performed several cosmetic tweaks. Along with new floor pans, rockers, and a flush-mounted exhaust that exits within the rear bumper, the 1956 Lincoln Continental features a bespoke firewall.
Under the hood is a Jon Kaase 520 ci Ford V8 with Kaase Boss semi-hemispherical heads, which is capable of exceeding 850 horsepower. It solely uses a Chevrolet automatic gearbox to provide power to the back wheels.
Lexus's Black Onyx leather eight-way power seats and the exclusive Dakota Digital instruments inside provide for a comfortable ride. Likewise, a Kicker Q-Class sound system provides the audio, and the wheels and the steering wheel were supplied by Colorado Custom.
