55 Hours Of Satin Perfection: Meet Bentley’s Coachella-Inspired Continental GT Speed Cars

Bentley Rancho Mirage, set in the heart of California’s desert retreat, has teamed up with the Mulliner bespoke studio to craft something extraordinary: four one-off Continental GT Speed Convertibles, aptly named the "Expressions of Texture" Collection.
These bespoke masterpieces are a tribute to the natural beauty of the Coachella Valley and its surroundings, blending art and engineering in the most luxurious way. Each of the four convertibles wears a satin paint finish so exquisite that it took 55 hours to perfect.
The deep Peacock Blue finish of one of the standout creations draws inspiration from the starry night skies of the desert. This theme flows into the cabin with Peacock Blue accents, Electro Blue pinstripes, and Slate stone veneer, creating an interior that feels as celestial as the night it reflects. Another car channels the elegance of the nearby sand dunes with its Ghost White Pearl satin exterior.
Silver Tempest pinstripes and Tungsten wheels add a refined touch, but the true showstopper is the tonneau cover—a piece of art etched with dune-inspired graphics, crafted over hundreds of hours. Inside, bespoke quilting adds a luxurious feel. Then there’s the Havana satin model, a nod to California’s Death Valley. The tonneau cover features a topographic map of the valley itself, while Copper Stone veneer and a Bronze pinstripe grace the interior.
Finally, a British Racing Green satin convertible pays homage to Bentley’s rich heritage. Timeless and elegant, it’s a classic finish on a thoroughly modern machine. David Parker, the chief commercial officer at Mulliner, said: “We hope that the Expressions of Texture Collection will inspire customers to explore the full range of possibilities offered by the Mulliner bespoke studio. At Mulliner our goal is to inspire possibilities beyond their imagination.”
