2025 GMC Yukon Debuts With Rugged AT4 Ultimate Trim, 16.8-Inch Infotainment, And Enhanced Diesel Engine

GMC has introduced the upgraded 2025 Yukon. The 2025 Yukon features a more commanding appearance up front, a redesigned cabin with a large touchscreen screen, an enhanced diesel engine now standard across the board, and a brand new AT4 Ultimate grade.
The grille has undergone modification, the LED headlights are now higher, and the dynamic lighting components are stunning. The newly-installed trim piece at the back connects the quad tailpipes and the somewhat longer taillights.
On the Denali Ultimate, you can now choose alloy wheels that are up to 24 inches in diameter. With all-terrain tires mounted on 20-inch wheels, red badging, matching recovery points, and a noticeable skid plate, the new AT4 Ultimate trim receives a more tough configuration.
Inside, the Yukon gets a major boost from its predecessor with the new 16.8-inch infotainment system. A panoramic sunroof, 22 speakers from the Bose Performance Series sound system, and an 8-inch touchscreen for the rear passengers' temperature control are all available equipment on the Denali Ultimate.
The 2025 GMC Yukon features a more powerful 3.0-liter Duramax engine. Compared to its predecessor, the turbodiesel now produces 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 28 horsepower and 35 lb-ft, respectively. Aside from that, the diesel is now accessible across the lineup, including on the off-road-oriented AT4 and AT4 Ultimate versions.
Both the regular 5.3-liter V8 gasoline engine and the optional 6.2-liter V8 with 355 horsepower and 420 hp, respectively, will be available on the new 2025 GMC Yukon. Each of the three powertrains comes with a ten-speed automatic gearbox that can send power to either the rear wheels or all four wheels, depending on the setup.
The safety equipment now incorporates the newest ADAS, enhancing its capabilities. The Night Vision system can identify thermal objects; the Super Cruise allows you to trailer without using your hands; and the vehicle has more advanced technologies for people who want to use its 8,400 lbs (3,810 kg) towing capacity. By late 2024, U.S. dealerships will have the 2025 GMC Yukon available for purchase.
