2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Gets Precision Package With Advanced Suspension And Brakes
by AutoExpert | 31 July, 2024
According to recent announcements made by Cadillac, the updated CT5-V Blackwing will be available with a new Precision Package. The updated suspension bushings, bigger front stabilizer, firmer springs, redesigned front steering knuckles, and rear suspension toe links enable "more aggressive wheel alignment for track."
In addition to a carbon ceramic brake system, the Precision Package includes other upgrades, such as revised MagneRide dampers, electronic limited-slip differential, and steering.
"Contributes to improved steering precision into the corner apex, increased stability on the corner exit, and more road feel for spirited driving situations," Cadillac said of the modifications. A new 33-inch curved display is part of the improved interior and redesigned style. With the latter, you get Google's built-in services.
Under the hood, a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 cranks out an impressive 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque. Drivers have the choice between a ten-speed automatic gearbox or a six-speed manual.
The launch will reveal the price details later, but the package-equipped vehicles will be available early next year. Dealers will start receiving the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing this summer.
