Hyundai has launched the updated Alcazar in India, featuring a boxier design and new split headlights with H-pattern LED graphics. Starting with the front, it now features a wide grille and a large skid plate around the lower cooling intake.
Roof rails and new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels enhance the Alcazar's silhouette. The new LED taillights at the back have a unique H-shaped appearance. This model you see here, for instance, boasts two tailpipes, a turbo emblem, an aluminum-style garnish, and faux vents on the rear bumper.
Inside, it is likely that the new Alcazar will feature the 10.25-inch digital dashboard from the Creta. The Alcazar's engine selection, which includes non-electrified gasoline and diesel choices, will remain unchanged from its predecessor. These consist of a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine with 113 horsepower and a 1.5-liter turbocharged T-GDi gasoline powertrain with 158 horsepower.
The gasoline model has a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission in addition to the usual six-speed manual, while the diesel variant has a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Meanwhile, all versions of the vehicle are front-wheel-drive. Hyundai is now accepting preorders for the updated Alcazar in India, ahead of its market launch on September 9.
