2023 Nissan Z Receives Nismo's Latest Engine Tuning Package

The "Nismo Sports Resetting Type 2" upgrade kit has been released in Japan for the Nissan Fairlady Z, allowing sports car owners to maximize their vehicle's potential.
Nissan claims that by adjusting the boost pressure and the ignition timing, the "Nismo Sports Resetting Type 2" enhances the engine's power characteristics.
In addition to the engine upgrades, Nismo also advertises a more responsive acceleration in the low to medium rpm range. However, this is limited to cars with an automatic transmission with the Sports driving mode engaged. No official performance specs for the Nismo ECM were made public by the manufacturer. When stock, the Fairlady Z's 3.0L VR30DDTT V6 develops 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque.
