2023 Nissan X-Trail Is Coming To Australia This Year
by AutoExpert | 25 February, 2022
The new Nissan X-Trail will arrive in Australia by the end of the year, according to Nissan Australia. For more than a year, Americans have been able to purchase the Rogue, an upgraded version of the vehicle. However, Australians have been stuck with the outdated model.
In February 2021 and October 2021, Nissan offered new characteristics for the old model, although it was only a question of time before it was phased out.
The Australian specifications for the 2023 Nissan X-Trail are yet to be published, but the carmaker promotes it as not just its most advanced SUV to date, but also its most capable.
The SUV is built on a new chassis, and in the United States, it was initially available only with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine providing 181 hp and 181 lb-ft (245 Nm) of torque.
However, after only a year, this engine was decommissioned and substituted by a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder with 201 hp and 225 lb-ft of torque (305 Nm). We suppose this motor will be supplied in Australia as well. More details about the Nissan X-Trail in Australia will be released in the coming months.
