Trailers have always been linked to functionality rather than style. The Japanese companies Kwork and Lixil's Mio Space trailer aims to challenge that idea.
For starters, the Mio Space has a sleek design with rounded corners and wide windows that give it a contemporary look. Meanwhile, the wooden paneling adds to the overall attractiveness.
The Mio Space's interior design definitely shines through. Wooden slats on the walls provide a stylish touch while also serving as utilitarian locations to put items. Kwork promises to provide owners with year-round comfort.
Notably, the inside of the trailer is largely barren, reflecting a flexible design philosophy that enables owners to build the space they need. While this strategy allows for personalization, it also implies that owners must supply the Mio Space themselves. Pre-orders for the trailer will begin in the summer of 2024, but no pricing has been announced. Unfortunately, it will only be accessible in Japan at first.
