Two of the most anticipated SUV automobile market recently arrived in the hands of the accident specialists, EuroNCAP. The Belgians have given full marks both models, Volvo XC90 and Audi Q7, but more details are below.
We begin with the favorite of this class, which is Volvo XC90. Sweden managed to convince the jury with a maximum score largely due to electronic support systems to avoid the impact, but also thanks to the autonomous braking in an emergency. Note that XC90 is part of history as the first car to achieve the maximum score in this test.
About Audi Q7, find out that neither Germany is not far behind; putting at stake technologies as safety systems such as the pretension seatbelts accident, closing all windows and the sunroof in case of detection of a collision is imminent. How behaved both models you can see in the video below.
Also at the EuroNCAP have been tested the models like VW Touran, Ford Galaxy/S-MAX, Renault Kadjar, and Toyota Avensis, all managed to score maximum 5-star safety. Only four stars have accumulated by Mazda CX-3 and Mitsubishi L200, both being separated by score due to lack of autonomous emergency braking system. And if Mazda crossover this system is offered as an option, Mitsubishi does not have it at all.
