The street-legal version of Zyrus Engineering's outrageous track vehicle was presented to the public. Zyrus Strada LP1200 is a race-inspired road vehicle. The first iteration is almost ready for delivery. The Zyrus LP1200 R is an exclusive-track racing vehicle based on the Lamborghini Super Trofeo LP 640-2. A twin-turbo system is fitted to bring the total output to 1,200 horsepower.
In response to its accomplishment in the Norwegian Extreme GT Championship, the brand is now producing the Strada LP1200 street-legal variant. It's built on the Huracan EVO RWD and is a little more pleasant to drive daily.
It's still a great machine, though. The seats, for example, have a carbon fiber backing and may be equipped with racing harnesses. A half roll cage may be added to complete the package.
The engine has been equipped with twin turbochargers, which Zyrus estimates will produce up to 1,200 horsepower in racing mode and 900 horsepower in street mode. In addition to Ohlins TTX suspension, carbon-ceramic discs, custom-forged wheels, an Inconel manifold, and a titanium exhaust, it has a variety of additional performance upgrades.
Also, the body panels have been substituted with Zyrus carbon fiber components. The manufacturer claims to have changed or installed 600 unique pieces in total. The Zyrus Strada LP1200, which weighs 2,837 pounds, can deliver 3,968 pounds of downforce at 149 mph.
Zyrus will only produce nine units, each costing €799,000 (USD 831,179) and being fully street legal and TUV certified. July will mark the delivery of the first Zyrus Strada LP1200. Beginning in 2023, the company anticipates producing two more.
