The 2024 Fiat 600 Hybrid Is Delivered And Ready To Go!

Fiat has just pulled the curtain back on the Fiat 600 Hybrid, adding an interesting twist to their lineup alongside the all-electric Fiat 600e. This hybrid variant blends a 99-hp 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine with a 28-hp electric motor.
The exciting part is how Fiat has seamlessly integrated the electric component. Nestled within the six-speed electric dual-clutch transmission, the 2024 Fiat 600 Hybrid can glide at speeds of up to 18 mph solely on electric power.
However, the catch is that, at that pace, the 48-volt lithium-ion battery would last just 0.6 miles. Hence, Fiat suggests that the electric motor and battery primarily come into play to tackle turbo lag rather than being geared towards full electric cruising. When it comes to performance, the 600 Hybrid doesn't aim for breakneck speed, taking a leisurely 11 seconds to hit the 0 to 62 mph mark.
Likewise, it aims to shine in the efficiency department. Fiat has ensured a smooth and noiseless transition between the electric motor and the engine, thanks to a belt starter. Coupled with the engine's clever Miller combustion cycle, the carmaker claims that the 600 Hybrid can substantially cut down fuel consumption and reduce CO2 emissions by up to 15 percent.
This new hybrid model stretches out to 164 inches in length, offering a generous cabin with 915 cubic inches of scattered storage. Additionally, there's a spacious 13.5-cubic-foot trunk. Inside, it boasts exclusive recycled fabric upholstery with chic white accents and a modern touch with the black bio-based plastic dashboard fascia. Also, the 2024 Fiat 600 Hybrid comfortably accommodates five passengers.
Opt for the higher-trim La Prima model, and you'll enjoy Level 2 assisted driving technology, adding a touch of convenience to your drives. For those eyeing it, prices start at €24,950 ($25,654) in its home market. It's a noteworthy addition to Fiat's lineup, offering a smart blend of internal combustion and electric power.
