For their first model, a British start-up firm called Yomper 4x4 located in West Yorkshire launched the Yomper SUV.
The "Bergan" and the "Commercial" are two separate models offered by the British start-up.
Both have a wide body with a two-seater interior and a rear bed. Though, they vary greatly in terms of wheelbase size: the Bergan's is 225 inches, while the Commercial's is 275 inches.
The Bergan resembles a Jimny in appearance, with an extended rear overhang and a cut-off top, whilst the somewhat longer Commercial has a metallic tray bed with drop sides. The cars also have massive off-road tires, mudguards, beautiful little roof rails, and Yomper logos on the hood and front doors.
Both Yomper SUVs are powered by a 1.3-liter 16-valve four-cylinder petrol engine that has been modified. Suzuki's AWD system sends power to all four wheels via the engine, which is linked to a five-speed manual transmission. The pickups are designed to carry a payload of 500 kg (1,102 lbs).
The Yomper's on-the-road price in the UK starts at around £20,000 ($26,985) and includes a 12-month warranty for those curious. Indeed, the orange Yomper JMV225B Bergan is priced at £16,995 ($22,927) before taxes on the official website of the company, while the green Yomper JMV275 Commercial is priced at £17,995 ($24,276) without taxes.
